VFSI is in business to provide a comprehensive Technical Publications Service underpinned by consulting, project management and implementation of electronic systems.
To understand, to analyse and to act in the interests of our clients in delivery of successful projects.
We write one-off manuals for prototypes and arrange production of multiple copies for volume distribution. We can take your existing documentation as starting point and refine it in what ever way necessary to give it a professional finish. Our staff includes a holder of a Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS) card for our many assignments in the Rail Industry. Predominately, we work by visiting client's own premises to gain an understanding of their product. Writing / illustrating is then completed in our offices close to Derby in close collaboration with the client via telephone, the web and further visits. Our output is either in traditional paper form, or via electronic media - web and CD. Often multiple forms or the same core data are produced for distribution in different ways to suit clients organisational needs.
We are a dedicated team of technology experts, who understand the importance of timely and expedient project delivery.
Our skill base apart from that of Technical Publications and Authorship includes electronics hardware, systems engineering, low level software, information technology, computer aided design, visualisation and software project management. We include a qualified adult and higher education staff trainer.
An important part of our work is involved with troubleshooting 'difficult' projects. We pick up the pieces when others have failed or gone away. The recovery process is normally completed with full reporting of the work done, fresh documentation, and staff training. Ongoing maintenance cover is also offered.
VFSI Limited was formed in late 2001. We have over 30 years experience in the automotive, engineering, petroleum and rail industries.
